Carnival preparation in full swing

Wed, 17 Jun 2015

There was a hive of activity last night as a group of volunteers got busy cutting, sticking and painting in preparation for the Springfield School's entry into this year's Witney Carnival Procession (Saturday 11th July).

There's lots to do in order to transform the Bishop's Move minibus into a yellow submarine but the early indications suggest it is going to look AWESOME! As well as transforming the bus we are working on some giant sea creatures to accompany us during the procession.

Next meeting is on Tuesday 7th July, 7pm at The Bronze Barrow. Come along - everyone's welcome!

Springfield School at Wood Green is 10 years old!

Thu, 4 Jun 2015

How time flies! This year is the 10th anniversary of our purpose built building for secondary aged pupils on the Wood Green School site.

WG building

The opening of the building meant that we could offer education and care to a wider range of secondary aged pupils. There's been fun, laughter, tears and we've all learnt lots! We plan to celebrate this milestone on Wednesday 24th June and would like to get as many former pupils and staff members along as possible. Please contact Denise on 01993 706662 if you would like to be involved.
