Schools in Bloom winners!

Thu, 22 Sep 2016

Springfield School has won the Witney Schools in Bloom 'Wow' award set up in honour of former councillor and supporter of Schools in Bloom, Chrissie Curry. We're delighted to win the award. All the pupils (and many staff members) work very hard in the garden and it is a space we are really proud of. Well done everyone!

Macmillan Coffee Morning - Friday 30th September

Thu, 22 Sep 2016

Pupils in Key Stage 4 are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning again this year. They have been busy baking in preparation and would like to invite as many people as possible to come along. The event takes place on Friday 30th September, 10.30am at Springfield School Secondary Site at Wood Green. Please do come along, enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake. You are also welcome to bring along any cake donations to help us raise even more money!

In addition this year we are also holding a 'Cake Off' competition at the same time! So, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood why not rustle up your best effort and bring it down on the morning. You never know you might win! We are asking for a suggested donation of £2 to enter the 'cake off' with all proceeds going to Macmillan. Any questions, just drop us an email at

Mon, 19 Sep 2016

Kate's class have been working really hard to create some fantastic pieces of autumnal artwork. In fact, we think they are so good we wanted to share them on the website for everyone to see!

The class worked from an autumn themed still life display.
